WX Influenced

Featured Replies

Hi all- fantastic ASV6! Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to this fine program. Now on to my question, and I did read through the ASV manual and looked a bit through these forums, but couldn't find what I was looking for.I just need clarification as to how the WX Influenced setting "works". Since FS/ASV cannot update cloud textures once FS is running (must change textures THEN open FS to see them), what steps do I take to properly "enable" the WX influenced settings? My guess is - (but this is why I'm asking because I may be wrong!)1. Open ASV6, load a flight plan. (press "New Route" button)2. If I haven't already, open ASV graphics program and send "WX Influenced" setting to FS by pressing the "send to FS button"3. Open FS and fly. Thanks in advance!

In AS6's options, set "Auto-Submit" to checked, and then place the WX-Influenced theme in both of the browse boxes there, then:1. Load your route2. Refresh AS6 and notice it'll say "Updating FS graphics" at the end or something to that effect.3. Run FS. Get plane in position.4. Refresh AS6 again. That should get it working...
