Live Real World Traffic Date injected directly into BATC!
Just made a flight this morning hearing ATC call "Spirit Airlines" and thought to myself, "wow it would be great if BATC could take advantage of the Navigraph live data" LOL!

No Ships From Seafront Vessels
I don't have the add on and not sure if it even uses it, but how about the exe file, is it referenced there? Again might not even need to be - just trying to give an option to help. It's like it cannot find either the models of the ships, or the route files. Have you changed anything in community folder (not even sure it uses that either, but assume it has to?). I know you said that you ensured they were enabled but that is "in game" correct? Have you checked the actual community folder (it might supposed to be in the packages official2024 folder)

Clouds after SU5
The video titled "What have they done to my beautiful sim weather?" NOTHING. More people are just noticing how the weather in MSFS is really starting to show it's "age". All Asobo needs to do is bring out the weather code from before MSFS2020 SU5 (and keep the current accuracy of rain/thunderstorm locations, up/down draft modifications, improved lightning), and that should do it. MSFS2020 live weather pre SU5 used to have it all, towering cumulus, super cell, high clouds, fronts, organic weather worldwide (no cloud shifts / clouds disappearing or reappearing out of nowhere). I wished I would have kept my screenshots and videos I made! They even used to have "dynamic" windshield rain drop / wind effects that were physics driven, not the current word not allowed it is now (like some baked in GIF or something, just repeats over and over).

Clouds after SU5
With the recent exception of in cloud updrafts/turbulence, there have been *zero* changes to the clouds, cloud structure or anything to do with clouds. Unless Asobo announced something that I missed? (somewhat likely). But other than updates to enhance/fix lightning about 1 year ago, I've not heard of any changes to weather. Placebo effect here?

Sim Update 5 [1.7.27.0] Now Available | MSFS 2024
@Krakin I meant to include this too and finally had time to re-watch this stream to capture the statement. Here is where I think I misunderstood what Seb was saying: https://youtu.be/iA_b1BX60kw?list=PLHHNa7e7hf9MqQB-RV6bxHYiLcTQkgGfi&t=1455 Also here https://youtu.be/vS14eQEFMVU?list=PLHHNa7e7hf9MqQB-RV6bxHYiLcTQkgGfi&t=3903 "but I think in order to go further we need a bigger rework of the cloud system" - I took that basically as "not happening". But he really never said that. It was my assumption. Also he says repeatably about getting it higher on the wishlist. So let's all work on that!

Sim Update 5 [1.7.27.0] Now Available | MSFS 2024
Yep you got me there Krakin - so what I swear that I thought I listened to, I guess I didn't have enough coffee that day. I went through literally the last 4 or 5 dev updates insisting he said that... but you are correct. Sorry about that. But I can say for sure after watching many of dev updates today that he has been consistent in saying "once the bugs are mostly cleared up", and "keep voting on the wishlist", "get it to the top of the wishlist".

Sim Update 5 [1.7.27.0] Now Available | MSFS 2024
Yeah, unfortunately I don't think we'll EVER get any kind of "visual" weather updates in MSFS2024, even Seb said it himself. I believe they have mentioned that there are limitations in the engine that will prevent that. And, much like prior dev updates they skirted around the question about true "visual" cloud and visibility updates and instead pushed that they implemented up/down drafts inside of a storm cloud and weather radar improvements. That's great and all, but the problem with that is #1 storm clouds (i.e. supercells or stand alone high top thunderstorms) are non-existant in live weather and #2 even if using a storm as a preset the turbulence effect is not strong at all. So what is the point in an improved 3d weather radar if there are no realistic storms to avoid anyway? Cloud tops 10k? Blahh. Don't get me wrong, it was still great to hear them again and they are trying to improve what they can. I just don't think it's possible within the limits of the current engine, and sharing the code with x-box performance limitations.

FSLTL: Static injection only from 2026/04/30 due to lost API
Sorry if I'm missing something but, what is wrong with the default injected live traffic?

October 2025 - The Last Asobo Dev Update?
I am happily "eating my words" and appreciate that Asobo has returned to their dev streams! I am very happy to see they returned with a vengeance - a 2 hour long stream! Thank you Asobo team, you all ROCK! Looking forward to the new exciting stuff in the works.

A common bug? MSFS 2024 and Xp12 ...
I get this as well. 2024 Su4. I use the Airbus throttle/flight stick combo. I don't think that matters but FYI.

The ONE thing I currently miss most in 2024 that was in 2020
The live weather / clouds before they were nuked for xbox (pre SU5 2020)
- Weather weirdness today

October 2025 - The Last Asobo Dev Update?
Uhm, they scrapped MS flight about *5 months after release*. We aren't buying that &h^t.

October 2025 - The Last Asobo Dev Update?
As much as I liked to read some of the positive comments in this thread about leveraging Asobo/MS being at that upcoming show, I still reserve concerns about no roadmap*** (I think the missing roadmap/bug list/wish list concerns most people who pay attention), no community Q&A or Dev Update of which relates to my original post/concerns. If they did all this communicating through the years, why not just say that they are stopping the dev updates and roadmap? And...who exactly from MS or Asobo will be at the FS show? Will it be some "fill in" MS employees we've never seen before? It will be interesting and hopefully things work out. We shall see! Nothin' we can do to change it anyway - but feel like we've been down this flight path before (those of us who have been around since early FS days or at least FSX/MS Flight era). Just saw this article: https://msfsaddons.com/2026/02/28/microsoft-flight-simulators-sudden-silence-has-the-community-worried/

October 2025 - The Last Asobo Dev Update?
Thanks for your positive views and these are good assumptions that make sense. Fingers crossed! If any community managers pop in over here at Avsim, they should take some of this feedback up the chain!

October 2025 - The Last Asobo Dev Update?
I've been getting into Vermillion VR painting, feeling that we're now on the Flight Sim downslide (once again) - I think that I need a new hobby. Or, maybe we will see the "other sim" have some incredible breakthroughs - but I doubt that. I'm with you @jcomm ... never again! I can paint the clouds and skies that I dreamed of flying through in a sim! https://store.steampowered.com/app/1608400/Vermillion__VR_Painting/

October 2025 - The Last Asobo Dev Update?
The last MS/Asobo dev update was October 2025, is that right? I noticed how quiet Asobo has become in the past months; yeah, holidays etc. etc. but I tend to recall years past they hit the ground running not too long after the new year COMMUNICATING with the masses. Did I miss an announcement, did they stop doing dev updates? What next, the weekly updates will stop perhaps? Might this be the first steps of a MS Asobo FS market exit? 2024 version, I love it (yes it still needs lots of work but I am grateful for what we have). But they seemed to have dropped weather updates or really *any* "new" stuff except some content. Again, maybe I missed an announcement or heck maybe there was already a new dev update I missed earlier this month or in January? Anyone hear of a March 2026 dev update planned? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORLCiebYh10

MSFS 2024: Sim Update 5 Beta (1.7.6.0) Out
not sure if you thought that I knew something, I don't 🙂 Just conjecture and a bit of anger toward the dev's quality control, especially when Su5 beta is quite a bit later than I think they originally projected (but I do not think they ever had announced a projected beta release date) anyhow - venting. I do not think they purposely removed windows nor do I know if that's what they intended to do (doubtful, I hope!)

MSFS 2024: Sim Update 5 Beta (1.7.6.0) Out
Yep, and just like MSFS2020 SU5 when they dumbed down clouds to host x-boxers, they keep dumbing things down using slight of hand, look at their latest Houdini trick - remove windows from all the autogen houses (a lot less to process!) Maybe in preparation of bringing on nintendo switch next?

MSFS 2024: Sim Update 5 Beta (1.7.6.0) Out
Exactly, and while us beta testers understand that stuff is likely going to be broken, it is blatent things such as this: Upgraded Tobii SDK to version 9.0.4.26. So they clearly took time to upgrade the SDK to the new version, but what F8*&cn good is it IF THEY DO NOT EVEN TEST TO SEE IF TOBII WORKS then release the beta? Absolute laziness and stupidity? Or at very least, arrogant and corporate garbage.

MSFS 2024: Sim Update 5 Beta (1.7.6.0) Out
No humidity? What next? I don't think density altitude is simulated is it? I mean that's a huge factor in the summer, not in this game though. Doesn't humidity need to be present to properly simulate that?

SU5: What’s on your wishlist?
I'm glad to see someone is still trying.. but I gave up a while back. They'll never improve the weather, unfortunately.

Your Latest / Fav 2024 Approach
I enjoyed a recent approach into LIRZ RWY 1 in foggy conditions. Mountains in area as well. Very challenging!

//42 Releases Typical Weather For MSFS2024
Nice little program.. Only thing is, I noticed it cannot really be "used" when flying with BATC or any ATC because the program does not push the METAR data to those apps or MSFS ATC. Unless I'm missing something? Love it otherwise!
