December 28, 200520 yr Hello.Another question for ya...After downloading weather into ASVE, loading the flightplan, and all that jazz and then launching FS04, how do I know when all of the loading into FS04 is complete? I figured it was when the area for the weather says "User Defined Weather". But I have sat, without doing anything except launch FS04, and waited for a couple of minutes but it never changes. However, if I change an aircraft, load a flighplan, or do pretty much anything, as soon as I'm back to the main screen it will say "User Defined Weather". Is this normal? Will that not change until I click on something? Thanks!
December 28, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi,With default options, it won't actually write weather to FS until the flight is loaded... so you can change airports, configure your flight, etc., without a redundant write process. Once the write occurs you'll see "User Defined Weather".Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
December 28, 200520 yr Author But I'm seeing "User Defined Weather" before I load a flight. Is that not good? I'm seeing it by pretty much clicking on anything. Changing aircraft, time, starting location, etc.I do notice though that the weather takes a minute or so to completely load after you are actually sitting in the aircraft.
