Hi, For some reason, the weather is no longer updating. Weather between Montreal and Washington destinations has remained the same for the last 4 days and that can't be right. No problems previously. Latest build installed. I seem to recall something about having to clear out some type of folder that may have been responsible, but I couldn't find it on previous posts. Hi,No need to clear out any folders. That is if FS04 weather stops. The servers have not been down so that is not it. Are you in Online Mode? On Line updates are working. I can see the download and watch the weather being updated, but the weather in Montreal and Washington my destination and point of origin are not changing, neither is the forecast. It's weird. I'll try again and report back. John Haley

This is the weather that keeps showing up on the Activesky Screen. This was downloaded just after 1230 EST. It's the same weather I have been seeing at Montreal for some time, possibly since I installed the program, I honestly wasn't watching it as closely because I was flying elsewhere. I must apologize, but is the 26 at the start of the string, (part of the 261951Z) meaning its from the 26th of December. I did install the program on the 26th. Perhaps it hasn't updated since then. It's strange, I watch the download of weather, but the forecast remains the same. John Haley

Wow, your fast Jim. Yes, it is stuck at all airports. I never noticed it earlier because my flights weren't between the same destinations until I started to report this. I can only think that perhaps I may have deleted something critical from the old program, but I did follow the instructions posted elsewhere. Yet its odd that it will download the weather, but it won't update it. It's like Groundhog day, only it's a repeat of Boxing Day. :)John

Hi,This is certainly strange. Please do try forcing both servers, to see if you can isolate it to one. It almost sounds like a cache issue, i.e. via proxy servers not updating the files. Forcing secondary server (which uses unique file names) would work if this was the case. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] for direct troubleshooting.Best,

No, I'm screwed. I have no ASV saved anywhere, but found all the other versions dating all the way back to ASWXRE. I can't run the repair utility because it says its not installed. And this must obviously be the problem, I must have deleted something I shouldn't have. It's truly an inconvenience having to go back and install and then uninstall everything. I'm better off purchasing the latest stand-alone version. Going to keep searching some zip discs I may have saved ASV to. John

Back to square one, purchased the stand-alone and got rid of all the old versions. Nothing to save or archive etc. And of course, it's now working properly. The weather is updating as per usual. I did try the previous posts recommendations before I took this other course of action and neither suggestion worked. Thanks for the assistance,John Haley
