January 10, 200620 yr I hope Jim, or someone, can help me with this problem: I an unable to produce real clear blue skies. This has only started since installing AS 6. I do NOT have "Depict FS Haze Layer" or "Fog Layer Generation" checked. When I load FS9 (without AS 6 running) and select a flight that was saved (and I've used many times) with clear skies, the flight starts with a haze effect. And, I am unable to clear it out, even when making sure that the FS9 World pull-down menu has the Clear Skies Weather Theme checked. When I select other Saved Flights that previously had clear blue skies, I get this slight haze layer that I cannot remove...Any ideas as to why this is happening, and how to get my blue skies back when I want them?...Thanks, in advance.Lee
January 10, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hi Lee,We use default max visibility of 59sm to prevent the hard shift that occurs after that point (from slightly hazy to completely clear blue, for example). You can increase max vis (say 80sm) to get such clear blue sky but if the surface visibility is lower (per calculation of moisture and air stability) you'll need to "climb out" of this lower vis before you see if go complete clear.Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
