January 27, 200620 yr I don't think I am getting the startup procedure right with AS6 as my sky color and textures always look the same the world over. I am wanting the most realistic setting with the current wx conditions.-I have auto-submit checked and full sky theme and cirrus theme set to wx-influenced. -I start AS6 first in the paused state.-I enter a new route with departure/arrival/alternate/cruise speed and altitude data input. I do not import any flightplans so therefore I have no waypoints in between-I then hit the refresh button on AS6 to start it.-I see that it says FS Disconnected and that it is updating all graphics.-I then start FS9 and on the create a flight screen, go to my departure airport and select time, aircraft and select "clear all wx".-Once at the departure airport, I again hit the refresh button and it says updating Cirrus graphics only.-I get same bland pale blue sky everytime.What in the #### am I doing wrong?? January 27, 200620 yr Hi,Start up pricedure is correct.With wx Influenced I think there are only 4 sky textures used. January 28, 200620 yr I think I need some help, when I click ASG, a box says "failed to initialize (Oxc0000135)" ...I still have AS 4.5 and ASV installed in FS, whould I uninstall both, or one?? I turned off the AD Watch and AVG and redownloaded ASv6-sv2 amd will reinstall that now and check that B464 and ASG B166 are there.............suggestions are welcome thanks, RRL
January 28, 200620 yr Hi Dick,Please install .NET 1.1 or higher from Microsoft.Please start a new thread next time! It makes things very hard to follow especially when posts have nothing to do with one another!Once things are up and running you can remove 4.5 and ASV. However, some common files may be removed.
