February 24, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hi,"In slew mode the clouds displayed normally. "In slew mode this wont happend, because in slew mode fs2004 does not use impostor clouds. When Fs2004 is running, they use clouds impostor for performance, make sur your 3d clouds percentage is at 100%. These will happend on some situation, on default fs2004 without any addons as well.-You might check the resolution in fs2004, should be 32d bit, As well set the mip map to 4 in fs2004 option.ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpghttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-beta.jpg Kind RegardsChris Willis
February 24, 200620 yr Hi y'allI was at Biggin Hill a couple of days ago and noticed the clouds were drawn on screen with a sharp vertical line delineating their edge (see attachment). In slew mode the clouds displayed normally. I again noticed the corrupt display tonight - when I landed at Gatwick. Have you any clues as to the cause? Has it anything to do with being adjacent to the Greenwich meridian?Paul Croft15 miles north of EGKK Paul Croft 15 mls north of EGKK
February 24, 200620 yr Hi ChrisYou're absolutely right. For some unknown reason my 3D cloud percentage was set at 3%. Have no idea how this came to be. I've always run it at 100%. Must have unintentionally knocked the slider some time recently! :-hmmm Thanks for your rapid response.Paul Croft15 miles north of EGKK Paul Croft 15 mls north of EGKK
