WX influenced textures-what does it mean?

Featured Replies

I see this option in the graphics engine.Does it mean random selection of textures or what?Is it related to system resources?I've tried it several times, didn't like the visuals, and replaced some cloud textures to get the effect I wanted. Can you enlighten me on this?Eytan

Hi,It means that ASG/ASv6 will look at the weather conditions at your departure/default airport and choose textures based on those weather conditions.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter

Hi Eytan,It's texture that's will always appears on ASV6 defined condition editable text files with the metar.Your are not obligated to use this feature, you can select your prefered theme, clouds setup, to get always your favorite clouds texture visual. One thing to not confuse, texture are the not the cumulus, stratus clouds formation, but only the color and the puff of the clouds, all cumulusstratus type shapeheight familly will only show with the metar.ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg

Kind Regards

,> but only the color and the puff of>the clouds, Yes, that's what I notice each time I pick 'WX infliuenced'. The clouds seem to be more vapourous, more ragged. Personally I prefer the thicker appearance.Eytan
