May 4, 200620 yr Just bought ASv6 and I think that it does not coexist very nicely with FSAISeparation.exe.I know that refreshing AI will definitely make it not work but besides that I am getting conflicts.Does anybody else have similar observations ?Thanks
May 4, 200620 yr Hi,We refresh AI traffic one time and that is long before FSAIS. has any effect on traffic. What kind of conflicts are you getting? I use AISmooth with no problems.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter
May 5, 200620 yr Author A few times I got error messages starting FSAIS. Then I shut down ASv6 and had no more problems. On the other hand, it could be a problem with an add-on. I have been flying extensively in and out of a newly-released scenery so it could be the scenery. Thanks for the reply. Anybody else folks ?
May 6, 200620 yr I use AS6, Radar Contact V4, AISmooth 1.12, and FS9 with no apparent conflicts. It is just my preference to use the none-skewing hold methods of AISmooth. With this combination it is important to order start up of the applications correctly. In my case I start up AS and load weather, start AISmooth, Start FS9 and load the flight (parked), refresh AS6 and then AI, and finally load RC4 loading and prepping the plan and then activating it, and then returning to FS9 to preflight and fly.I am currently using FSUIPC 3.601.Two things in your post bring up suggestions. If enroute weather was requested by COM and it also was on an ATIS frequency FS9 crashed. This was fixed in FSUIPC 3.601. There was some kind of COM conflict as documented in the 3.601 manuals and release notes. As you state, your crashes might be due to scenery or AFCAD conflicts in that specific area.
