Hi,At the last update, we made a single change to prevent ASG from auto-loading at ASv6 start IF Keep ASG Open option (in ASG) is disabled OR auto-submit option (in ASv6) is disabled. The old way of handling it (B491) disregarded the Keep ASG open option, and was not correct in that ASG should not pre-load (and stay open) if you haven't configured it that way.So if ASG is not auto-loading with B499, given that you have auto-submit apparently enabled, it sounds like Keep ASG Open is not enabled. Please give this a check. It should be on.Does this explain and fix things? Thanks!Best,

Thanks for your awesome support, but I thought I should report that the issue I had earlier with FS minimization prior to b491 is back with the SU4 update. After working with Damian my problem was sloved by having ASG load first, it continued to work with b496. Now, after updating to b499 ASG no longer loads early as before and so FS minimizes again after the weather update and ASG loads. I know that it was advertised as an included fix with the SU4 final... 1. Fixed rare case of automatic FS9 minimization when auto-submit enabled. Solved by now automatically loading and hiding ASG in system tray immediately upon ASv6 load (instead of waiting until submit time to load ASG).At least for me, this no longer happens.

Please note that I am very happy with the function of AS and only provided my comments because we had worked together earlier to change the way ASG loaded.The options I have selected are "auto-submit" under the graphics section and the "Wx-Influenced" theme. For ASG I have both "Keep ASG running on auto-submit" and "Close ASG with ASv6" enabled. I start AS first, then MSFS.After b491 when I started AS, ASG loaded immediately and showed an icon in my system tray indicating that it was running. Now (b499) it waits until the wx update is complete to load ASG causing FS to minimize again.Thanks again,Dave

Good news update... After re-saving my AS and ASG options, all now seems to work perfectly again. I made no changes in my configuration, only did a save and exit and now ASG loads immediately again and the minimization is gone.Dave

As another who experienced the minimization problem, I have only done one test, but I had no minimization after the on line update was completed with SU4. I did see the ASG icon sitting the tray and it closed just before AS6 ended. So far, so good. Mike
