June 18, 200619 yr I've only done two flights, one at high altitude (FL370)and for about 2hours. Is it me, or did SU4 tweak something with regard to the cirrus representation? I spent the entire flight getting distracted by being totally amazed at how the cirrus clouds were looking; they were beautiful and the most realistic I've ever seen! I changed none of my settings and in fact use DTX and 64 bit. Just incredible, guys. And my FS minimization still appears to now be a thing of the past. Mike

June 19, 200619 yr Commercial Member Thanks very much Mike!No major cirrus changes since SU3, but hopefully, if we've accomplished our goal with ASv6 + ASG, it's up to the weather conditions and influences throughout all aspects of AS weather and cloud depiction. Cirrus generation (via upper layer generation feature) only depicts very occasional cirrus in most circumstances (can be more in certain conditions)... Many METAR stations (depends on the area) report layers high enough to show cirrus so when they are reporting this will greatly increase the amount of cirrus depicted as well as the inherent variation.Would love a screen shot!Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
