November 13, 200619 yr Hi -I was playing around with the weather finder feature (which is cool, BTW!)and it returned KGDP as one the locations meeting my search criteria.I closed that window and entered 'KGDP' into 'fetch' and it said 'no matching ID'. (also tried 'copy and paste')I then went into FSX and found that although KGDP was not listed, therewas a KGDB(among other KGD_ listings) and so I went back to active skyand entered 'KGDB' into the 'fetch' box and again it said 'no matching ID'.I went ahead and went to KGDB in FSX and saw a really nice cloud frontand so I'm hoping Active sky was influencing the weather there anyway.I thought you would want to know about these database discrepancies.I'll post more if I find them.I'm really enjoying ASv6.5 and I'm looking forward to ASGraphics for FSX. | Dave | I've been around for most of my life. November 13, 200619 yr Hi Dave,Thanks for that! KGDP is a stations that we pull weather for. Not sure why the Fetch does not pull it. I tried and got the same thing.KGDB is not being pulled.Once inside FS if a station does not have weather we do use a blend from neighboring stations. so that is what you saw!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
November 15, 200619 yr Commercial Member Hi,Fetch Wx works only with "airports" listed in the complete_airport_list.txt database file. "wx stations" are different. We do realize it would be helpful to be able to pull up wx stations OR airports and we are working on it..Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
