One wants one's Pause button

Recommended Posts

Guest abulaafia

May I most humbly suggest that future versions of AS include a Pause button in the interface (there is unused space between "Create" and "Refresh AI" begging to be used. There are lots of reasons why one would want one's Pause button, the most obvious being that in one's FSX, when one updates one's weather, one tends to suffer stutters, which, as one happens to enter a critical phase of flight, can be quite annoying. It would be an added convenience, if one had one's Pause button :)

One might wish to study and use the facilities that one already has at one's disposal - suppression of updates based on altitude and/or distance.... ;-)Works for this one anyway!S

I am aware of the existing options and like them very much. It's just that I have to do a lot of testing (of aircraft in different conditions), and a Pause button would be every so handy :)

I don't think I understand how that would be of any benefit. ??I mean, I can already pause the sim if I want.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2310 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 2.5-3-3-8 (1T), WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian case

Hi All,It is a pause of AS that is being suggested. We cannot pause a download once it is started and I am not sure if we can even pause the whole program. Thanks All!Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

I understand. I was mostly referring to the period where weather stations are written to the sim, but I think I have found a way around it.
