June 11, 200718 yr Hi EveryoneI have noticed that when I go to the map view after a flight that the lock position is locked onto an airport which I had flown to several days ago and was not locked onto the present airport which I had just flown to this date.If I type in the current airport which I just landed it will then lock onto that airport.I have locked to FS position checked and like I say it did not lock onto my curent airport.Tks. for any comments.Kenny G.

June 11, 200718 yr Author >Hi All,>>Anyone else with this? Not sure the reason!>>Jim>JimAm I supposed to type in my destination airport prior to enabling FS or is the program designed to lock onto the nearest airport.Tks. for your comments.Kenny G.
June 11, 200718 yr Hi,Nearest airport.Start ASStart FSLock to FS position should be On. Really nothing the user needs to do.With FS not running, you cannot check this box!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
June 19, 200718 yr Hi thereI have the same problem, I am using simconnect, active X is running on a client. It looks, that I get the weather that is reported on the map, but its not locked at the nearest airport, either its showing a distance to the station. The readout Range is N/A.For me its like active x does not get the position from FSX....Maybe a firewall problem?RegardsDaniel
June 19, 200718 yr Ok, found out, that I cant lock the map to FS position! Some Ideas?RegardsDanielPS: I will be away until Thursday evening, will check back than :-)
June 19, 200718 yr Hi,When you come back: it looks like your ASX and Simconnect are not communicating across your network. That is where you need to start looking when you return.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
