When I first start ASX it takes a little under a minute to get ready. Then I start FSX - when I get the flight loaded I get the message to wait while ASX sets up. It takes about 6 minutes before I get the OK message. Is this about normal? I have a 6K DSL line and my system is a P4 3.4/2GDDR/GF 7600/512.Thanx,VicVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/

In Active Sky 6 there's an option under "Startup and General": Start Paused (Refresh to Start).I can't find that one in ASX, and that's a bit annoying. I never fly realtime (if I did I'd do nothing but night flying), and I move around a lot, so ASX is almost always in the wrong place at the wrong time at startup!I would love to have the Start Paused option in ASX too ...Eagle

Thanx Jim - that's what I thought but I always like to double check. So far so good with ASX/XG! Still waiting for prices to come down before I build a new system. Probably want to see what DX10 does before committing though.VicVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/
