Use WeatherSet2 to Analize Weather Issues

Featured Replies

I don't know how widely known this utility is; but Pete Dowson's WeatherSet2 seems quite useful for analyzing Clouds, Wind, Baro, & Temps live, while in-flight. Pete asked us to use it while we help check some of his recent FSUIPC betas. Seems to also work fine on a WideFS/Wide-client PC as well. You can download the most recent version of WeatherSet2 from Pete's Forum Sticky:FSX DOWNLOADS and UPDATES (UpdateDate) near the top of his forum:http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=55488Scroll down the this lengthy thread and look for the bold heading:TrafficLook and WeatherSet/WeatherSet2 utilitiesDirect WeatherSet2 download URL:http://fsuipc.simflight.com/beta/WeatherSet.zipThis is snapshot I took while on descent with the PMDG 744X.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/184413.jpg

Used it on FSX last night across a WideFS/wide-client connection. As far as I know it is for both versions of FS. There was also a "WeatherSet.exe" included in the zip but not sure what version it was for. My guess is, FS2002 and prior. There were Readme's for both versions in the zip. You can also use this utility to set weather as well, but I have no need for that. That's why I hired HiFiSim! ;)
