May 19, 200818 yr Have there been any users reporting ASX not respecting their Maximum Visibility setting?I had my upper level max visibility slider set to 31nm, and I flew through some airspace at FL32 where I could literally see for at least 100 miles in all directions. Am I missing something that is overriding this slider?RhettE8500, Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, ASUS P5E3 Premium, BFG 8800GTX 756 (nVidia 169 WHQL), 4gb DDR3 1600 Patriot Cas7 7-7-7-20 (2T), PC Power 750, WD 150gb 10000rpm Raptor, Seagate 500gb, Silverstone TJ09 case, Vista Ultimate 64 Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
May 19, 200818 yr Hi Mace,I had one other user report this a few weeks ago, but we worked through it and it was on the ground. Make sure that your FSUIPC settings are default and Weather settings Off. I'll double check my ASX.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
May 20, 200818 yr Hi All,Just a follow up. I just tried in my ASX and everything worked as it should. I tried 15, 30, 50, 100, and 200 mile maximum visibility.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
May 26, 200818 yr I've seen this problem flying today. I had upper vis set to 60 and lower vis set to 100. I was cruising at FL370 and could see forever.Once I changed the lower visibility setting to 60 as well, the visibility was as expected.KyleFS box: Q6600 (@ 3.24 GHz), ASUS P5E3 Premium, 4 GB OCZ Platinum DDR3 (Cas 6-6-6-18-2T @ 1440 MHz), BFG 8800GTX 768, Soundblaster XFi Fatality, WD 150gb 10000rpm Raptor, Samsung Spinpoint F1 750 GB, Silverstone TJ09 case, PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 PSU, Vista Ultimate 64http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpg Kyle Main Sim PC: P3D v5.2 & MSFS 2020, i9-10850k @ 5.0 GHz, ASUS Maximus XII Hero, ASUS TUF-RTX3080-12G, Dell U3011 30" IPS monitor, G.Skill 32GB 3200 Trident Z 14-14-14, Samsung 512GB 960 Pro NVMe (OS), Samsung 2TB 970 EVO NVMe (Sim), Win 10 Pro 64, Yoko Yoke, Saitex Combat Rudder Pedals, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant
