July 28, 200817 yr A suggestion for any future updates to ASv6.When the weather is raining, cloudy and sun visbility is zero, have FS9 automatically turn off AC & ground shadows. May be impossible to do, but I thought I'd ask anyway.ThanksChris
July 28, 200817 yr Hi Chris,It is a great idea, but I don't think we can hook into those options through FSUIPC. The only other idea I have is that the user can go into those options and check them accordingly.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
July 29, 200817 yr One thing I noticed about FSX (as opposed to FS9) is that FSX will gradually fade out ground shadows as it gets cloudier.Surprisingly I just noticed this about a month ago. Perhaps my old computer and settings could not do this.RhettFS box: E8500 (@ 3.80 ghz), AC Freezer 7 Pro, ASUS P5E3 Premium, BFG 8800GTX 756 (nVidia 169 WHQL), 4gb DDR3 1600 Patriot Cas7 7-7-7-20 (2T), PC Power 750, WD 150gb 10000rpm Raptor, Seagate 500gb, Silverstone TJ09 case, Vista Ultimate 64ASX Client: AMD 3700+ (@ 2.6 ghz), 7800GT Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
