Jan is pulling his hair out trying to figure out why these are not showing up. I'm going to try posting his shots. Fingers and toes crossed...Here's the 2D view looking to the rear out the top turret:http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/avsimpics/a2d_back.jpgIf this two shows up, we'll try some more. They seem to only want to show up one by one. Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM"The R4D Team"

SHoot! Some dirt in the pipes obviously, sorry folks.Good thing we were not up in the air yet.Got some different compressed ones here, let's try again from where we left. From the 2D department here's the Captain's panel :http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/avsimpic.../2d_acpanel.jpgThe Captain's pop-up panels :http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/avsimpic...1/2d_acplus.jpgThe Co-Pilot's panel :http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/avsimpic...1/2d_cpanel.jpgThe Co-Pilot's pop-up panels :http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/avsimpic...1/2d_cpplus.jpgWith the 3D goggles on, here's an overview of the main office :http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/avsimpic...cp_overview.jpgFrom the Co-Pilot 3D seat, looking back/down into the UTC ( Upper Turret Compartment ) :http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/avsimpics/batch1/UTC.jpgA view from the Upper Turret Gunner seat :http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/avsimpic...fromutcseat.jpgLooking down there's the tunnel to the bombardiers office. Don't worry, pretty zoomed out shot, tunnel looks much longer here then it really is :http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/avsimpic...tch1/tunnel.jpgThe tunnel as seen from the nose compartment. You'll have a good view on one of them big windmills overthere. The grey stuff at the top is part of a sunscreen, can get awfully hot in there ( right,Bill ?! :-cool ) :http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/avsimpic.../windmill_l.jpgThat's the other big windmill there. If one of 'm stops turning while in the air always notivy the Captain. :(http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/avsimpic.../windmill_r.jpgOk,folks,that should do it for today.Engines running, entrance hatch still open, are you coming...?? :http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/avsimpic...h1/rucoming.jpgWatch out for part 2, we'll take her up for a spin then! (leave that to Rob ! :-kewl )regards,Jan

This brings back memories of being a kid at Christmas time where I knew what presents I was going to get but I couldnt have them till Christmas day so I would look at the catalog with the pictures in it and dream !!! (-:Is there going to be any limitations to running this under windows 98 like there was at first on the R4D gmax version?Great job guys !Darrell

Thanks DarrellThere will be NO problems running under Win98, I'm happy to report. Our beta testers had a wide variety of systems and the Win98 users experienced no problems with that OS. The same will be true of the new Gmax R4D, too, as programmed by Fred Banting. You can read between the lines on that remark ;-) Bill Rambow MAAM-SIMhttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/maamsim_logo.gif

Whoaaaa boy! As soon as our webmaster has the order form up at MAAM, we'll begin taking orders. He's shooting for today or tomorrow. Then, if the dog sled gets through to MAAM with the first batch of 80 CD's I sent on Thursday, Priority Mail, we will start shipping immediately. ;-) However, for you more geographically fortunate souls, both my home base in Maryland, where the CD's are burned, and Reading, where they are packaged and shipped, just got nailed by the #2 all time winter storm in recorded history, so getting the next 200 CD's sitting on my desk up there is going to be a bit problematic! If I were you, once that order form goes up, I wouldn't dawdle! Not that I think that will be your problem! Send specs on used girlfriend. :-)Might have something pretty soon for you to play with, in the meantime. :-outtaBill Rambow MAAM-SIMhttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/maamsim_logo.gif
