June 23, 200421 yr Does anyone know how to get the view through the nose perspex? I seem to remember seeing a screenshot of this view on the MAAM web site, but I can't reproduce it in FS2002. No problems seeing waist/dorsal gunners view using NP keys.
June 23, 200421 yr Use the virtual cockpit. Move back behind the pilots' seats, then go down underneath. Crawl through the tunnel, and you'll end up in the bombardier's seat. It's fairly easy to do if you have keys assigned to front-to-back and side-to-side movement. You can't do this with the medium and light versions... only the full version includes the nose with the virtual cockpit.Ken
June 23, 200421 yr Commercial Member Ken is explaining the 3-D, but you seem to be asking about the 2-D bombardier's view. It's straight forward on the hat switch, or, quoting the manual, "SELECTING VIEWS - When the 2-D Panel is active, the views are selected by using the hat-switch on your yoke or stick, or with the number keypad (number lock on). The only peculiarity is that, although the bombardier's nose view is controlled by the forward position of the hat switch, the key command is Ctrl + 8 with the number lock OFF. This is because the nose view is programmed as the "Look ahead/up" command."Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM - Rambow, Visser, Banting, Young, Womack, and Sodjahttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/maamsim_logo.gif Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM www.maam.org
June 23, 200421 yr Thanks for the tips. Now it works a treat - I probably should have read the manual a little more carefully. It's a pitty that more add-ons aren't up to this standard.:-)
