October 12, 200421 yr Only of the default FS9 DC-3, Tobi. There is one in the works for the MAAM-SIM lady - perhaps, a couple - but it will be released with a specific model representing the C-47 configuration i.e. with bucket seats, and will be a free add-on to anyone who has invested in the base R4D/DC-3A package from MAAM-SIM. All in good time ...If you're thinking of this because of Operation Market Garden, by any chance, pop over to the DC-3 Airways forum (linked from www.dc3airways.com) and read all about the forthcoming reenactment in cooperation with other flightsim groups.Mark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP FleetDC-3 Airwayshttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM

October 13, 200421 yr Hi there!I am just waiting for the right C-47 model from Jan Visser. Then I will start working seriously on a remake of my repaint for the default DC-3:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/94236.jpgTico Belle of the Valiant Air Command, ex-RDAF K-684Best regards
October 14, 200421 yr I'm working on it, i'm working on it..http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/c47mil3.jpghttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/c47mil4.jpghttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/c47mil5.jpghttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/c47mil7.jpgBut this strange bird got in the way :http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/float15.jpghttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/float22.jpgOnce this duck has stretched it's flippers (probabely this weekend) i'm back at the C-47's including D-Day stripes and all.If you do not fancy the XC-47C prototype to float'n fly around you can always go with one of Mark's gorgeous repaints like the Folsom's here : http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/folsom.jpgOh, and there's a full blown exact photoreal replica of OY-BPB down the pipe as well.http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/bpb7.jpgHang in there :-cool Jan
October 18, 200421 yr Um, yea. Can't wait is an understatement!!!!Quick question on the amphib model- Is it set up to do AI work? I'd like to be able to have it sit correctly in the water as an AI airplane. I know several people have talked about trying XML gauges and things like that to get AI amphibs to work right, but haven't seen any successes yet.
October 19, 200421 yr <<>Not yet. I thought we'd just do that tomorrow in between selling refrigerators to Eskimos and teaching pigs to fly.Aarrgghhh. AI? Fly her first, Railman! To be honest, I personally haven't a clue whether she's going to work as she is as AI ... maybe you could try her out!Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
