As long as the flushing loo has a stack of Uncle John's Bathroom Readers next to it! ;-) :-hahIan P.

A neat idea, Ian.Though perhaps these could be best implemented through the Motorhome's kneeboard? :-lol Ian :-sword

Good grief, it's dueling Ians!! :-)The trusty MAAM-SIM Mobile HQ just returned safely (no new holes) from another mission to wilds of Pennsylvania where, among other things, I produced the art for this year's WW2WE T-shirt...http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/b25_sill_3.gifThe back of the shirt always features a different aircraft on a blown-up replica of a WWII aircraft recognition playing card. Here's last year's shirt, which I did not do...http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/tee_1.gifhttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/tee_2.gifFor the 2005 show our beloved B-25J will appear as the king of hearts. Beginning this year, the previous year's card and the present one will be featured on the chest. Then each succeeding year will add a new card until the wearer eventually will have a royal flush on his chest. I guess we start over on another suit after that. :-)They should be available through the museum store sometime in April, I think. I'll let you know in case anyone would care to order one for themselves. Of course the best way to get one is to come to the show. There are still 2004 shirts in the store, but only in XL and up, I think.Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM - Rambow, Visser, Banting, Young, Womack, Sodja & Beaumonthttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/maamsim_logo2.gif

Hey,This is great! I was going to ask you once whether the museum offered this kind of merchandise but I completely forgot. Wonderful. A black t-shirt/sweatshirt with just the generic MAAM logo was what I was originally looking for as someday I hope to buy a WWII product while I'm actually there, like you said. I'll get to one of these shows eventually dammit! Great designs Bill!Oh, and speaking of great designs - I've been meaning to say this too - The new MAAM Sim website is a cracker! It's very interesting, easy to navigate and looks a million dollars. Well done, mate. I really was taken aback when I first found it! Someday, all websites will be made this way....I'll sign this 'Sir John' since my initials are already spoken for! :-lol :-sword

Thanks, Sir :-)Speaking of websites, the parent MAAM website is now undergoing a complete and long-overdue redesign by a very talented volunteer in that business. I'm overseeing the project for Russ and the early drafts look fantastic. One of the things that we will be attending to is revamping the on-line store. There is really some nice merchandise to be found in the store, but the site doesn't really show much of it and has not kept up with the changing stock. We'll fix that. One of the items we need to do a better job marketing is our line of ceramic mugs. These are made by a company owned by two of our pilots, Tim O'Hara, who is BT's co-pilot and gives rides in the Stearman, and Jim Pusateri who does the same in the SNJ and will soon become our regular TBM Avenger pilot. Here are a few from my cabinet. I never drink coffee or tea from anything else, and they have withstood the ravages of the automatic dishwasher and rubbing against all my wife's Golden Retriever mugs for years...http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/bt_cup.jpghttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/r4d_cup.jpgHere's to ya, mate.Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM - Rambow, Visser, Banting, Young, Womack, Sodja & Beaumonthttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/maamsim_logo2.gif

Looking forward to seeing this stuff on the MAAM site. Definately 'my cup of tea'. I use a 'medieval jack' (an all-leather tankard lined with pitch) when I'm suppin' Guiness down at the local, and a very large Spitfire Mug (purchased at Hendon's Battle Of Britain Museum in London) does more than it's fair share of work when I'm brewin' up. One becomes very attached to these things doesn't one? What are the chances of getting these MAAM mugs across the pond in one piece? I assume they are sent overseas?Sir John :-beerchug

That reminds me... Following Bill letting me buy the last MAAM Polo Shirt at the Avsim convention (for which he may possibly never forgive me! :-hah), I really ought to order another one for when the first is in the wash... ;-)(The other) Ian P.

> Dak men don't need little labels all over the place to tell them>where the gear lever is .... oh no ..... flipping the wrong>switch is second nature to us, we don't need to be told we>screwed up.No Mark, except I know certain DC3 jocks that forget to flip the gear switch at all on finals! Well one anyway! I was there to witness it. As a clue his nickname initials are Delta Mike!Boy did I giggle as I watched him slide majestically off the runway onto the grass in a cloud of dust!!!!! The best thing was it was in a multiplayer session with some chaps from DC3 Airways at which the said individual concerned holds a lofty rank!! LOL!!! His remark that " I thought the landing run was a little short!" will live forever!!"Landing Checks Complete...NOT!"Sorry Mark!CheersTimhttp://members.chello.nl/t.westnutt/realair1.gif
