First, before I describe a minor problem, I wanted to say thank you for this beautiful C-47 package. The planes look great.Now for the problem -- I can get the paratrooper or cargo drop animation to work for the other three aircraft (by using the "i" key), but not for Sugar Blues. I tried reinstalling the package, but the result is the same. Door animation works, but no cargo drop. Any idea what the problem is? Thanks.

Hi Bill,Thanks for the compliment.You don't have a problem. There are four different configurations in the four planes. 'Sugar Blues'. like our BEA freighter, carries cargo that is not rigged for drop. You may load and unload cargo with the / key, but you must do so on the ground.The Dakota YS-DM is the only one configured to air drop supplies. The other two planes, "Sugarpuss" and YS-DJ will drop paratroopers, American and Commonwealth, respectively.You can switch around effects from plane to plane by editing the aircraft.cfg. if you wish. The effect is to be found right under the EFFECTS section in the smoke system. Yes, the paratroopers are all smoke and mirrors, without the mirrors.The entry for para-drop cargo is:SMOKESYSTEM (with square brackets around the word which the forum won't print) smoke.0=3,-14.0,-4.28, fx_c47cargo.fx To drop U.S. paartroops, add or change the entry to:SMOKESYSTEM smoke.0=3,-14.0,-4.28, fx_c47para.fxFor Commonwealth paras, it's :SMOKESYSTEM smoke.0=3,-14.0,-4.28, fx_c47paraUK.fxRemember to delete or rem out the old effect with a couple //'s. like this://smoke.0=3,-14.0,-4.28, fx_c47paraUK.fxFS will ignore the one preceded by the slashes and you can enter your new one below it. To revert back, just move the slashes to the other.One caution, the doors on the various models are the probem with complete interchangeability of the drop effects. Only "Sugarpuss" and YS-DM have the para exit panels that remove inward. All the others have only the normal door animations that swing into the slipstream.
