September 2, 200718 yr I need some assistance, I have my FS9 installed to the standard location but to a non standard drive. My main drive is the I: drive, I don't have a C: drive at the moment due to a drive melt down. I can't do the alternate instructions because I can't create a C:ProgramFilesMicrosoftetc etc folder. I have tried just changing the C: to an I: when using the OY-BPB auto installer but no luck, is there anything I can do?

September 3, 200718 yr Commercial Member Hi Lone Palm,Boy, that's a new one! No C: drive!OK, if you can provide me with some evidence that you have purchased the R4D from MAAM, I'll send you an OY-BPB zip without the security feature in the installer. E-mail your details to [email protected] RambowMAAM-SIM http://www.fssupport.com/maam/hgrsm_blkani.gif Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM www.maam.org
September 3, 200718 yr Thanks Bill, e-mail on the way.The short version of this story is that my HD C: melted down and it was a SATA type,HD. My replacement drive was not an SATA type so it had to connect to a different HD connector and thus had to be a different drive. Thanks for the helpLone PalmSteve K
September 4, 200718 yr SteveYou can assign/reassign drive letters within Windows, so losing your C:/ drive is not the end of the world; you can simply designate any other drive you have as C:/, and so on. If you can't find out how to do this through the HELP menus or by Googling, post again.MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cx.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/avsimlogo.jpg[/a] _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
