DC-3 in FSX/Acceleration

Featured Replies

Hi,I have not found problems using the MAAM-SIM DC-3 in FSX with the Acceleration Pack.Do not check DX10 and it looks and flies fine.I found the fix from Jan Visser and applied it.This is good for SP2 also.Have a look at http://www.dcascreenshots.net/dcaforum/viewtopic.php?t=8233Sanal and others,Come and join DC-3 Airways. http://www.dc3airways.com/CheersHartwig >Hi Sanal,>>The answer to that is in the first pinned thread. Hi Hartwig, you are still using the Duggy in FSX, right? When I was changing from FS9 to FSX, I had problems with textures in the VC.The Cowl-Flaps-Switches, the levers in the Throttle-Quadrant and some pieces of the gear were simply black. But there was much more bigger problem:The Frames, not the Frame-Rate!, of the instruments in the VC seemed to have no textures AT NIGHT, can you confirm it?I love this gooney bird, there is no other, I'd really love like the DC3...Thanks for an answer :)

>Hi folks,>>In relation to some posts i've read about our DC-3/C-47 model>having transparency problems in FSX/Acceleration ( spinning>props and VC glass ) here's a quick fix for you to download>and install : >>http://fssupport.com/maam/dc3_fsxacfix.zip>>Just unzip/overwrite the enclosed files in the texture folder>of any of your Maam-Sim Dakotas that you fly in>FSX/Acceleration and you'll have your glass back in the VC and>normal transparent spinning props.>>Mind you, as our stuff is still FS9 ported over not all>transparency problems are gone. Thanks ! :-) >>Cheers,>JanHi Jan,Thank you for the email and files. The prop problem has now been fixed in both the MAAM B25 and DC3. In addition, the vc problen has also been corrected in the DC3 but I still have the same problem in the B25. No, I'm not using FSX Acceleration. Any suggestions?Jim
