I have the Radeon 9800 Pro and I would like to know what the following setting do in FS2004.......Mipmap Detail Level and Wait for Vertical Sync. Also what is the differnce between Mipmap Detail Level of "High Quality" and "High Performance"And what does Wait for Vertical Sync do in FS2004?I been looking at the different setting and I can not tell the difference between them.

Mipmap Detail is controling something known as LOD Bias - the very very basic description is that it determines how sharp mipmapped textures going to be. Probably best not to mess with it, if it gets out of whack, you'll get tons of shimmering on the ground... The quality vs. performance option I believe has to do with how the mipmaps are filtered.Wait for Vertical Sync forces the video card to sync its frames with the monitor's refresh rate. So if I have 85Hz set and Vsync on, the video card will not go above 85 FPS and draw ahead of the monitor's electron gun. This isn't really an issue in FS because you almost never seen frames even above 60 if you've got the sliders turned up, but in other games such as first person shooters, you see this very annoying effect called "tearing" when the video card gets ahead of the monitor.
