September 13, 200421 yr For years I used my sisters nail varnish remover which works reasonably well and I had no problems but recently I spent a fiver on a bottle of the proper stuff -http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Onl...terials_27.html
September 14, 200421 yr Denatured alcohol is what is used and a Q-tip works fine, do not use nail polish remover as it is mostly Acetone and ketone and can harm the PCB.
