November 25, 200421 yr I've a Dell Dimension 2350 with 2GHz Celeron, 512MB memory and the standard built-in Intel Extreme Graphics. I want to add a separate video card. I'm told it will have to be a PCI because that's the only slot and that I will have to upgrade the BIOS from A00 to A01 to disable the built-in video. Dell's site appears inconsistent.Has anyone do this? If so would they please let me know how they did it.Regards Gerry Howard
November 25, 200421 yr The perils of buying factory built PCs include the fact that some have no AGP slot.PCI graphics cards are IMHO a very poor second best to AGP cards. You may be hard pressed to get adequate performance from it.Dave
