CH USB Rudder Pedals Problem

Featured Replies

Hi,I hope someone has an idea where I should go from here. When landing, and this goes for any aircraft in FS2004, as I slow down I lose control. The plane starts to pull to the left or right and when I try to correct this I lose more control and spin out.I've uninstalled and reinstalled CH Control Panel following their instructions with no results. I reset the defaults in FSUIPC. I don't use FSUIPC for any of my joystick controls, but tried that for lack of any other ideas.I also deleted the FS9.cfg and let FS rebuild the cfg file, but no luck there either. So as i said. I have no idea what to try next. The pedals work fine when taxing. So I don't think there is anything wrong with the pedals.Any help would be appreciated.Happy flying. Thanks,Gerry

Hi Gerry,This may or may not be pertinent, but the complaint used to show up a lot back in earlier days. Usually it was that the joystick didn't work when close to the ground. The problem was that the frame rate would drop because of the extra detail to the point that almost any control movement would tend to cause overshoot. Anyway, you might turn on the frame rate counter and see where that goes while you try the landing. There's really nothing in the control system that has any idea where you are or what your altitude is.Best regards,- BobThe StickWorkshttp://www.stickworks.com
