New system and FSUIPC

Featured Replies

Just upgraded to AMD64 3500 Winchester, Gigabyte GA-K8NSNXP-939 mobo,X800xt PE, 1G pc400 ram. FS9 runs as smooth as silk so anyone thinking down these lines, all I can say is, go for it. Only problem is my registered ver. of FSUIPC does'nt seem to recognise it. Trying to set the throttle up, but nothing happens. Any ideas much appreciated, thanks.Russell,

Yes JIM, everything appears to be OK and the throttle works, as does every switch and button on the X36 combo. Everything, that is, except FSUIPC which acts like it's dead. Thanks.Russell.

A shot in the dark Russell, have you tried reinstalling FSUIPC?I note from your post that you only changed mo/bo, CPU & RAM and therefore guess that everything on your HD remained intact.I just wonder if the change in hardware overwrote registry entries and one of them was for FSUIPC?Do other settings in FSUIPC work?I would also be inclined to post on Pete's support forum.Good luck.

Thanks for that Vulcan. Should have said, I renewed everything except the monitor. No, although it says it's registered in my name, nothing seems to work. I'll try Pete's forum as you suggested, ( when I find the site, lost all my address's in the change over) Yes, I know, very careless of me. Thanks again.Russell.

Thanks for the help. Went to Pete's site, but, still pretty convinced it was something simple, decided to try one more install ( the 4th ) It worked. It's fine now. Thank you.Russell.
