Could someone with a HT CPU and either A36, or RXP GNS530/430 help

Featured Replies

I have Ken, but it doesnt really make any difference, the process still hogs most/all of the CPU.Dan.

Have you been able to contact Reality XP technical support? have you been given suggestions to try? have you reported them back about this?

Yes, yes and yes, I recieved mail from them earlier, and have reported back tonight on arriving home from work, hopefully I can cure it soon.Dan.

Curious as to why this post was moved by the moderator as it is basically about how a payware gauge works in FS9. There have been lots of other similar posts in the general forum. If I had been the original poster I think my first instinct would have been to post it there.Bruceb

Same issue here. I have a brand new high end PC with freshly installed WinXP, FS9 and DF BE58 with Reality XP gages. Sadly when using the GNS530 Garmin during specific operation like deleting user waypoint the system hangs and 99% of the CPU resource is used by ntdvm.exe even if I quit FS9 with task manager ntdvm still uses all the resource. You need to reboot to restore the operating system. The RealityXP software is a DOS 16 bits environement and ntdvm.exe is supposed to make it work in Windows XP 32 bits but something is not working right. I think it is a major issue and so far nobody came up with the right solution. I submitted this issue on the DreamFleet forum and I am waiting. Too bad someone has to use such a good product like the DF BE58 and leaving aside some of its feature. The first picture shows fs9 runing ok before activating delete waypoint function. On the second picutre after the delete function is activated you can see that ntdmv.exe take control of the CPU even after quiting FS9 shown on the third picturePlease help!!!! PS: English is not my native language please excuse my mistakes
