Featured Replies

Hi All,After some pretty bad framerate reports from the 5.2's and 5.3's I've been gunshy to update my drivers- anyone try the new 5.4's to see if ATI has fixed the problems? Thanks,Joel

They are fine. But I also absolutely had no problems with either 5.2 or 5.3. They were all very good for me, all delivered very good performance/image quality in FS9. Have to agree. I installed them today after installing a 9800 Pro card. I've been using 3.4's for ages so I thought why not... new card... new drivers. They seem to work just fine.

Ditto here - no problems fps-wise here and I've been steadily upgrading since 4.12. Matter of fact I even skipped 5.3 since I just don't seem to notice any real difference from set to set with fs9 - just always good :)This time I did ditch the CCC - purty but I never really use it.regards,Mark3.2HT/1GIG/X700pro256

"This time I did ditch the CCC - purty but I never really use it."I upgraded again and see no change in FPS. I keep upgrading the Catalyst drivers as I read these contain the most fixes for games and programs (http://www.tweakguides.com/ATICAT_4.html). I don't know why ATI does that but this is what one "expert" stated. You might want to check the article out especially since you have the X700Pro video card. Jim3.6HT/1Ghz/Radeon X800XT PCIe
