April 29, 200521 yr I think of buying a new joystick, but don't know wheter it should have force feedback or not. Do you recommend a force feedback joystick? How is it with PMDG 737NG, DF727, LDS767 etc.?Andreas Andreas, LOWW - Nihil sumus et fuimus mortales. Respice, lector: In nihil ab nihilo quam cito recidimus.
April 29, 200521 yr Either:1) MS Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 + Payware FSForce addonor2) CH Yoke or similarThat would be my choice. I'm now running the first option, and it's awesome, though I'm probably going to get CH Yoke in very near future.
April 29, 200521 yr I used a FF stick before (Logitech). I have since "downgraded" to a normal Saitek Evo and guess what? It's much better. The FF was very clunky and unnatural. For example, when moving the stick to the left or right, the centering force didn't kick in until you had moved the stick slightly. When it did kick in, it'd throw the stick in the oposite direction, sometimes causing the stick to oscillate if you didn't fight it.With the single spring gimbal mechanism used for centering, the Saitek Evo is very comfortable and accurate. -
