August 20, 200520 yr I read your hardware and wondered what settings you may have in your BIOS to fix my low single digit frame rate. (a lot worse than my Athlon 1.4Ghz)I have same board and processor 2 meg of ram and will probably get the card as yours only other difference is I am using a single SATA drive.IAn

It does work in the AA Mode and I am running at 16 for both AA and Anisio. I can say that even though I have a fairly high end machine, I to suffer from the same issues that most are complaining about with FSX.Although with this rig I can, around the seattle area maintain about 22 frames, and the lowest being 15, depending on the complexity (i.e. Seattle skyline etc). This is using autogen, 1000,1000 for the tweak on the tree and autogen buildings count, Very Dense-Very Dense for autogen settings in the sim, NO default.xml and using stock textures. I run at 1600x1200 also. So not bad really, but even with that I am not happy. LOL, my tweaking habit (or addiction) cannot be cured! Personally Mike I feel your pain and it is hard to wait I know but I would not upgrade yet. Let the dust settle on ACES patch and let the drivers mature for Vista. This flightsim stuff is stressfull LOL. If you have the money to burn, you will see an improvement but it needs to be your choice as to whether it is worth it. Hope this helpsBob
