Microsoft BETA Adware/Spyware remover

Featured Replies

Mine has been a weird experience with it.I used to run spybot and then I ran MS AntiSpyware. The MS program has never found anything on my computer, ever. So either it delivers as promised, or it doesn't work at all.I think it works great as well. :-)Joeaopa.gif" border="0" alt="Grab My FREEWARE Voice recognition Profiles here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=58334]Cessna 172 Voice Profile[/a][a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=60740]FSD Avanti Voice Profile[/a].You will need the main FREEWARE Flight Assistant program to use it, get it here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=genutils&DLID=39661]Flight Assistant 2.2[/a]

I've been using it now for a while and it has never caught a thing. I run Ad-aware and that catches stuff almost on an hourly basis. And for some reason on mine, the MS beta doesn't seem to scan any cookies. It goes through scanning 'running processes' for memory, then files and then registry keys and then it seems as though its about to scan cookies, but then it doesn't.I have no idea whether its amazing or extremely poor.

You have to configure it to a deep scan to scan cookies, it caught stuff that Ad-Aware never caught on mine.

Thanks. I had it originally on Smart scan which didn't do much. Switched it to full/deep scan and it went for much longer while scanning but still not scanning cookies for some reason. Well at least at the end report, it shows that it scanned everything but cookies.I'm not sure whether it is scanning them, or not.
