August 27, 200520 yr I am interested in getting TrackIR to enhance my sim and was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between the pro and standard version in flightsim. I know that Pro runs at 120 frames per second wheras the standard runs at 80 FPS. Since my flightsim only runs at around 25 FPS, is it worth it to spend $30 more for the Pro version? Is there anyone that has used both and can tell a difference?
August 28, 200520 yr You are probably not going to find anyone that owns both. I have the Pro and you can add the Vector to it which really adds to the functionality. For the small difference in price, go for the Pro..
August 28, 200520 yr Well I had the TrackIR3 standard and upgraded to the Pro and couldn't notice any difference. Maybe a little bit smoother? I really don't notice it. You can add Vector to both standard and pro. Rune B.

August 29, 200520 yr They can mostly run together without any conflicts in most aircrafts. In some smaller GA's I usually deactivate AC due to some bouncing effect on the screen. Rune B.
