  1. PB 15 made no difference for me so I ended up deleting my preferences folder and had it rebuild itself. That has corrected the problem with with the stuttering.
  2. I am still getting the pause and go problem that was introduced with Threaded Optimization being turned ON, it is turned off Globally but after installing PB 14 this problem is back, PB 15 did nothing to rectify it. In between pauses the sim runs fine and it ran fine before PB 14. Submitted bug report, will hope for the best.
  3. When X-Plane 11 was originally released I encountered horrible stuttering until I turned off the Threaded Optimization option on my video card, now after this new update the stuttering is back and I am not sure what needs to be changed? I tinkered around with my video card settings but to no avail I can't good the performance I was getting before this last update. In between the stuttering it runs fine. Ideas? Ran fine yesterday.
  4. Its to bad its gone. I was watching Air Disasters last night and got a bean up my butt for an MD-11 and decided that I was going to go ahead and buy it.. I know, a little to late! If they aren't going to sell it why not just make it freeware (wishful thinking)?
  5. I run a 3 monitor set up and I am having a problem with the cursor flickering, I found some information on the web regarding the Airbus Extended package but none of the changes seem to help. This problem starts immediately when entering the airplane. Does anyone know what portion of the Panel.CFG file needs to be changed? I have tried several, but nothing seems to fix it.
  6. Free?! Guess that means they have to start giving them away for people to use them..
  7. Had the same problem, the PWR Fail Light would not go off nor would the annunciator panel work..I found that FSX had dumped my modules and they weren't loading with the sim. I just happened to notice this when I went to check FSUIPC and it wasn't there. I reinstalled FSUIPC and after rerinstalling it all of my other modules showed up again and I was asked at the launch of FSX to accept them again.. Strange, but afterwards the Metroliner worked like it was supposed to so my guess is that it has its own module and it didn't load properly or whatever I did by reinstalling FSUIPC fixed the hangup at launch. Hope this makes some kind of sense, kind of late!
  8. I use have both the Area 51 C-5 and the C-17 and they both work in FSX with Windows 7 for me.. I agree with comments on them being default-ish though, but I enjoy them because they are just fun to fly when you don't feel like doing anything to complicated and they look good..
  9. Make sure to back up what you need to back up.. Pictures, Docs Etc.. The drive is probably on its way to failing.
  10. Thank you for the quick response to my backup problem and I am once again up and flying with Active Sky X.... Great customer service!
  11. The A2A Strat is by far one of the best add-on's for FSX you will find.
  12. I sometimes feel the same way and that is one of the reasons I bought an XBOX 360 a couple years back, but just the other night I found myself staring at the three rings of death while playing COD4! Luckily it is under warranty, but man! So, now I will get to spend more time with FSX. I even reinstalled Wings Over Vietnam for something a little different and to be honest I am kind of looking forward to it. I just learned to take FSX as it comes, rather than spending hours and hours tweaking it.
  13. No 2d..The 377 add-on is incredible, especially if you add the Accusim expansion pack.
  14. It is a gorgeous plane and a masterful piece of work!
  15. I am using the CLS job released through Justflight and found that it is really tough on frame rates and it isn't fully compatible with FSX and Acceleration. Some of the knobs in the virtual are see through! The CLS airbus looks great in FS9 though!I had some experience with Vol2 of the Airbus package from Wilco and for what it was it was good... Sure, it has its bugs, but it still runs well.
  16. Yes it will work with FSX, but it doesn't have the clarity that the more recent titles offer.. I am not sure how one would go about watering it down to the areas that you want, I would guess it would just be a matter of figuring out what BGL does what.Your other alternative would be to make the specific area you want via a program called MAPS2BGL, it converts Google Earth images into Flight Sim BGL's.. The only downside is that all of your buildings would be gone..
  17. I was right there!I didn't even read the product description and I had my credit card in hand, then I thought to look here first.. No purchase for me until the VC is included.
  18. I was quite surprised how well it works in FSX..
  19. They did fix it.. Sometimes my video card seems a little slow and it renders effects like lights or smoke as black squares until the program is fully loaded.
  20. Thank you! Now I have the best of both worlds! I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed this scenery, thank you! Best simming experience I have had yet!
  21. Incredible work of art! Thank you!
  22. In my opinion yes, I went from CH Yoke to the Saitek Yoke and throttle setup because my old yoke was starting to wear out. The throttle quadrandts are worth their weight in gold as it doesn't cost much to buy a second one thus giving the user easy access to four engine operation. Setup is easy and the Yoke is just nicer to use, it feels more fluid and conforms to whatever aicraft you want to use with it. Built in on the front is a clock and stopwatch which is a real nice addition and adds a lot ot the quality of this entire product and when you look at the price its very competitive.
