I have followed the directions to change the playlist in orbiter, but it continues to play the same old song.. What am I doing wrong?

Yup, it really is quite simple.. If you don't want to spend the money don't buy.. I know I won't.

I like the 707, and I own their 727, MIG and the F104 and I like them all. True, there are some things that need to be fixed in the 707, but its still a good plane.

Had you asked me this two months ago, I would probably say don't bother.. But, now they have incorperated the Exchange Module and there are some excellant objects out there.. I have also used it since it was released, but was always limited to the objects that came with it, not now!I really like being able to add sounds, and there are some great 3rd party sounds being introduced at the LAGO site..Its worth it! This coupled with the ability to use Runway 12 to add cars, boats and planes is a pretty awsome tool. Runway 12 does all the placement of buildings and other cool things, but it can be rather difficult at times to place, as you can't see the objects when placing them.

I totally agree, that is why I would rather see an update of some kind instead of a whole new program. Personally I hate that mad rush to get updates to make everything I have bought work with a new sim. I don't need two MS Flight Sims on my hard drive, so I guess the answer there is don't buy it.. Like thats going to happen!

I think a military sim with more conventional mission types, other then going after the enemy planes would be nice. CAP missions in and around Civilian Air traffic... I Like your idea though..

Would you really want a watered down version of the PMDG 737? If so, just fly the default 737.Granted I find myself burning the midnight oil as well, but it is something I enjoy. I have been using the ATR from Flight 1, and you know what? I actually do wish there was some sort of switch in the config program too disable the FMC, and use the GPS. But, there isn't and learning to use it has been a fun little experience. Although at 2AM I am usually pulling my hair out.To each is there own, if you don't want complex addons don't buy them. Pretty simple really.

Agreed, it is a nice piece of work.. I took the sound files from the Huntington Provost and put them in the CT-114.

I had a similar problem with FS Hotseat, it had replaced my default startup and to solve this I wasn't able to save as default.. When you are in your flights menu, at the main startup screen, pick your flight and click on the bottom of the screen where it says MAKE FLIGHT DEFAULT, that should fix it.. At least it did for me.. After I did that I was able to save as default in the in game menus, something I couldn't accomplish before.I included a pic of the menu where you do this..Hope it worksGene
