September 8, 200520 yr I have a Saitek cyborg joystick. It is constantly losing calibration. What do you guys use. Would the ch yoke work better? I am tired of recalibrating.JimCYWG
September 8, 200520 yr Hi Jim,Yes, I know how you feel mate.I had one becuase of it's adaptabilty to use left-handed even though I am right-handed.I wanted to simulate flying 'Airbus' as they use a left hand controoled joystick but, that is where it ended.Like you, I hade constant calibration problems. On take off and getting into the air the aircraft would consatntly veer off to the left! The one day I tried a freinds 'CH Products Steering Yoke'. That for me was the turning point and I quickly realized that there was so much more control with the yoke.I have since got more interested in flying Boeings *Grin* and that is ideal now because I can fly as they do with the yoke in my left-hand and the throttles in my right, unless I am using 'Autothrottle of course.I strongly advise you to get one Jim, and if you have enough left, the pedals are great too.Dave T. .........On the lovely warm Devon Riviera and active 'FlightSim User's Group' member at http://www.flightsimgrpuk.free-online.co.uk/ Dave Taylor
September 8, 200520 yr Alas, while I'm sure the CH controllers are several notches higher on the quality scale than the budget Cyborg, and should be acquired if possible I've had no issues with mine.Perhaps, if not tried. updated drivers would have helped?regards,MarkXPHomeSP2/FS9.1/3.2HT/1GIG/X700pro256 Regards, Mark
September 10, 200520 yr The drivers included with hardware should always be sufficient surely?Dave T. .........On the lovely warm Devon Riviera and active 'FlightSim User's Group' member at http://www.flightsimgrpuk.free-online.co.uk/ Dave Taylor
March 21, 200620 yr The drivers included with hardware are often outdated and dysfunctional. Always go to the company web page and get the latest drivers.I learned the hard way...
