October 27, 200520 yr I did install them ths morning and so far without a glitch.Maybe, when I find the time, I will try the new 'Beta'drivers but I can't promise that.Did you try tweaking the drivers? I know that some settings don't get set with the installation and that you have to tweak them yourself.But sofar, after a six hours stretch, no glitches here.I have a 6800 UltraLuc 'Glaudrung' Brusselmans
October 27, 200520 yr Installed Beta 81.87 OK, and it passed DXDIAG testing in my two-card, three monitor P4 rig. As mentioned in previous post, 81.85 would not install correctly, and failed DXDIAG. I think it's important to differentiate the replies in this forum between single-card and dual-card configurations - previous (i.e., post-78.01) versions of the driver may have worked OK with single graphics card, as reported here. Problem at hand is with two card systems. I still have major display corruption and performance issues with FS2004, but I'm still not convinced those aren't XP / game related.
October 29, 200520 yr I have 81.85 installed and it seems wonderful. The problem of "ghost flashing" in previous versions of nvidia drivers is solved, even better than 71.89. Tested with Geforce3 Ti200 and Geforce 6600.
October 29, 200520 yr I had 81.85 installed with my 7800 (clean FS install) and I had to rollback to 77.77 to remove the problem.
October 29, 200520 yr Strange is it not! Using the 77.77 on my GF 6600GT.Changed to the Official Nvidia 81.85. The best driver,for me, so far.Big improvement. Some where, find the Installation guide" by NOELL. That too helped a lot. VIN!
