HiI have noiticed that some sound cards come with a 15 pin joystick connector. Does the computer detect this the same as if the motherboard had the 15 pin connector. I am asking this, is because my joystick is old, but much better than some of the stuff you get today, and in my old computer the motherboard had a 15 pin connector making flight-sim easy to play.Now, i have to use a usb/gameport and the controls are much different and i am finding it horrendsly difficult to calibrate/control the plane and joystick.thanks.

Yes. I have a Audigy2 and use my ch yoke with it. You may have to load the drivers that go with the joystick. keith:-beerchug
