I dont now whats going on but I just got a new radeon 9250 pci which is way better than my intergrated graphics I used to have, but every time I press the alt key so the top menu pops up, it takes 15 seconds for it to load up and the sound freezes up, so if I am talkin to atc and the controller is saying mayve five it would be like fivvvvvvv vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv vvvvvvvvvvvv and then stop after the menu loads up. I have no programs running at all not anti spy or antivirus. I use fsautostart to close like 50 uneeded programs, this happend in default scenery with the cessna. Please helpsThanks Alexhttp://fs2crew.com/linepilot.jpghttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

Are you using a stand alone sound card or integrated sound? That certainly would or could make a difference. I'm assuming you are using the latest version of Direct X (9.0c) Try lowering the slider in DirectX to 3/4 or 1/2 and see if that solvers your problem. Also try the slider within FS9 for sound and lower it. Craig
