Hi guy`s l know this has prob been said b 4 but l`m looking at building a temp system just to keep me going till Jan, feb 2007... l was looking at AMD but l`ve never had one... What is the intel 3.4 gig in AMD ect.. Thanks guysPaul

Yeah, the AMD 3500+ venice is a good price/performance point there.So is the 3700+ san diego which is what I run at present. Both quite overclockable.This is all if you are building a "stop-gap" system to sort of bridge the gap between now and next year, when we'll know a lot more about FSX vs. DX10 vs. single core vs. dual-core vs. SLI vs. single gfx.:):)There is just a lot of "what ifs" right now in FS hardware it seems...Rhett

you are correct in saying that... l`ve decided to go for the san diego 3700 and a 7800GT extreme... should be fine for flight sim... the way l see it if you have a good system that runs fs great other games would follow.... Fs is the biggest factor here... thanks budPaul
