Hello there,In 2003 I switched to Apple Macintosh, and therefor also said goodbye to MSFS. I have been using X-Plane since, which is a great simulator. However, I miss the eye candy and the great addon panels (I used to fly PIC 747 and PDMG 737, but also the emulated fully functional Garmins) I used in FS2002. So I want to buy a Windows System again, just for FS, but I don't want to spend to much money on it.I found this system somewhere for a very reasonable price:Intel Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz HyperTreading double CPU useage, Intel CoolerMotherboard: ATX1024 MB DDR PC3200DVD rom player 16x48 white160 GB Maxtor S-ATA6 channel audio on boardATI Radeon se9200 128MB10/100Mbit LAN on boardThat is all the info mentioned.I want to use FS2004 with the PDMG 747-400, probably the PDMG 737 and the Level D 767, stuff like that. I lost track of IBM stuff, so can anybody tell me what to expect from a system like this? Thanx in advance,Peter

You should get decent performance. The vid card might be a slight bottleneck, as it's nothing special, but in general you should get good performance.James

It depends on how much you are going to pay for it. If you are paying anything more than $400-500 its too much. IMO.go to ebay.. look for DELL XPS refurbished systems.. check bids that have closed see..what they went for.. It would give you a good indication what the value is.You can get an awesome DELL XPS system for $800 far far far better than what you listed.... if you search a little.Manny
