June 21, 200619 yr I have the same problem with a 6600GT and I suspect that nView is causing the problem and that it's generally just not possible with my board. I tried to let WindowsXP handle the dual monitors, I tried nView and I tried UltraMon - same result. Windowed mode, move the window over to the other monitor, switch to full screen = Hangs.I just ordered a 7600GT and hope this will be fixed. Never had problem with ATI cards though.
June 21, 200619 yr Hello Tony, I have just gone to two monitors myself. Have you tried Control Panel-Display to get dualview and designate which monitor is 1 and 2? When running a program and wanting to put a screen on monitor 2 you have to undock the screen then you can move. Hope this might help. I fiddled for ages before coming to grips with it. Alan
June 21, 200619 yr Oops, the item I posted referred to Quadro NVS systems only. However, I cannot run FS in full-screen mode on my two monitors, I need to run in Horizontal span with FS in windowed mode. In this scenario you can create as many windows as you like, undock/resize and move them around.George
