July 4, 200619 yr Hello,I have just bought a new laptop sony FE21H and it has:Resolution Format 1280 x 8001GB RAMNVIDIA
July 5, 200619 yr It may be a video drivers issue. I think a number of us had similar problems when FS2004 first came out and some desktop PCs did similar stuff--mine did, for example. Check out the drivers and see if changing them helps.JS Jonathan Sacks Dell XPS Gen 4, Pentium IV Northwood extreme 3.8Ghz, 3Ghz RAM, eVGA 7900 GTO, 12 GoFlight modules plus MCP-PRO AP and EFIS, GF pedestal, CH rudder pedals, CH throttle quadrant, 42" LG LED, 24" DELL LCD, Windows XP, FS2004, FSUIPC 3.96 FS Autostart 1.1 (Build 11), FS Navigator 4.6, UT, FE, GE, REX, PMDG, Level-D, PSS, etc.
July 5, 200619 yr Welcome to the forum(s) Simon. I agree with JS that it could be a driver issue. But, can you change the resolution to 1024x768? If so, try that and see if everything is OK. 1280x800 isn't the best resolution for FS2004 and things will look better at the lower, but properly proportional, 4:3 aspect ratio.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage.
