July 7, 200619 yr Hi all-I just bought O&O defragmenter. I see there are several selections for defragmenting your drive; last access, complete, etc. Is there one method better or worse for FS9?Thanks,Mark
July 7, 200619 yr Author Hey Allcott-I forgot to thank you a while back for your help in replacing default textures from the original CD a while back. (the .cab file problem) Worked great! Thanks,Mark
July 8, 200619 yr Complete defrag once in a while (eg. once a month) and schedule the recent for a daily run. You can never be "too defragged" so it really is up to you how much time you want to allot to the task.CheersShad
July 9, 200619 yr The more downloading and istalling you do the more frequently you need to defrag, things can get out of shape real quick. I have a defrag programmed for all drives once a week, but I will defragment the OS C: drive almost every other day, as it only takes a minute or two and that is where my downloaded files are placed. Even deleting files can technically fragment a hard drive!Allcott
