I have a 2 year old machine. P4 2.8 1gig ram. ATI 9800 Pro 128 card. I have FS9 tuned to give me 20-25 FPS under normal conditions (Seattle, 40% traffic, some cloud LDS767 or similar). Sometimes but not always when I load up the LDS767 or PMDG 737, my FPS will drop to 2-5 and seem to get stuck there until I restart. Then magically we are back up to normal. Its almost as if the CPU or video card does not "release" and continue on. Any ideas on how I can avoid or fix this problem without complete restart. thanks,Mark.

Hello,Try : http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Filemon.htmlThis traces all the disk accesses (use the option filter to only see the FS9 files) it may help you find where the problem happens.It helped me.
