No, FSX only takes advantage of multiple cores in a minor way (background scenery load threading) - a quad CPU will do nothing for it...The only solution for running it well at full detail is unfortunately going to be waiting for the powerful DX10 video cards to come out.

The dx10 shall be awesome I am going ro do some mass saving and get the best thats out next Easter with Vista and the new MS office...be a fair whack to spend, but then I can sell my old comp which will still be good and get the money back on thatHeres to saving 2.5 grands!!!!
