October 5, 200619 yr have a question , i have a 80 gig sata drive 7200 8 cache, if i upgrade to a 120 or 160 gig sata will i see an improvement in my FS9.i have a 64 3800+, 7800 gs vid card, 2 gig of ram, so if i put more hard drive what will i see, or am i wasting my money.right now with all of the add-ons like level d , active sky, radar contact.etc. etc. i have about 25 gig open space.thanks..........Robert
October 5, 200619 yr A new HDD won't help you with FPS for FS9. If you get a raptor drive you *might* see a small improvement....but not much...You have a nicer system than mine hehe! | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
October 6, 200619 yr I agree.
